REVIEWING SYSTEM

a) papers are reviewed anonymously (“double-blind review process”) by two outside reviewers,
b) the reviewer is not the author of a paper published in the volume for which they  write a review,
c) in the case of texts written in the congress language, at least one of the reviewers is affiliated with a foreign institution different from the nationality of the author of the paper,
d) the review is in written form and clearly states whether the paper is admitted for publication or rejected,
e) a paper which is conditionally approved by a reviewer will be published under the condition that the author makes the suggested corrections,
f) in contentious cases, the submitted paper may be reviewed by more than two reviewers,
g) the review form is published on the yearbook website,
h) the reviewers’ names are not revealed; once a year the yearbook will publish a list of contributing reviewers.

PREVENTING GHOSTWRITING
In order to prevent cases of ghostwriting and guest authorship or honorary authorship (ghostwriting means that a person made a considerable contribution to the publication without revealing their input or being included in the acknowledgements; guest authorship or honorary authorship means that the author’s contribution is negligible or nonexistent but they are still listed as the author or co-author of the publication), the editorial staff obliges the author(s) of papers:
a) to reveal the contribution of all the persons involved in creating the paper and to state their affiliation,
b) to provide information about the sources of funding for the paper and about the input of research institutions, associations and other organisations (financial disclosure).
Ghostwriting and guest authorship are a violation of academic integrity and all detected cases will be exposed, including notifying the relevant organisations (institutions which employ the authors, academic societies, societies of academic editors etc.).
